Six Two Eight is crowned as the champions of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023 PEL Qualifier

STE qualifies for the PMGC 2023!

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023 PEL Qualifier is over with Six Two Eight being the ultimate champion. The team, besides being the table topper, has also booked a direct ticket to the upcoming biggest event of PUBG Mobile Esports, the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023. 15 teams joined the event and played for four consecutive days and a total of 24 matches to determine which team would go to the most prestigious stage of PUBG Mobile Esports at the end of the year.

Six Two Eight(STE) was crowned as the champions in the finals with 204 points, followed by ThunderTalk Gaming as the runners-up with 197 points and All Gamers as the second runners-up with 178 points.

The champion team’s run through the PMGC 2023 PEL Qualifier

The PMGC 2023 PEL Qualifier champion had a decent run throughout the whole event. ThunderTalk Gaming, the runner-up, of the event was the only team to come closer to the champion team by point calculations. While the crowned champion STE gathered 204 total points in 24 matches, the runner-up could gather 197 in total. A thin gap of 7 points made the champion to see another international event.

On the initial day of the event, Vision Esports took the first match and STE finished in the second. Later, the champion topped the day after a consistent play. Though Tong Jia Bao Esports was running hot behind them, the team had to end the day being the second.

After the second day of the event, Tong Jia Bao Esports came down to the third position while All Gamers stayed at the second position. However, no team could make enough threats to take down STE from the top. The third day passed the same with no changes in the top three. Nova Esports came fifth after the day. As the final day approached, the runner team emerged to show great gameplay and climbed to the top two. A tough battle was passing throughout the day but STE, the PMGC 2023 PEL Qualifier champion, was decorated enough to be the best.

Nova Esports failed to qualify for the PMGC 2023

Besides STE being the PMGC 2023 PEL Qualifier champion, the most surprising thing is that Nova Esports is going to miss the PMGC 2023. The team was the winner of the PMGC 2020 and PMGC 2021. Nova Esports is, arguably, considered the the best PUBG Mobile Esports team. The team has failed to qualify for the global championship by gathering the required PEL Summer 2023 points. Then, the team has to join the qualifier league for a spot in the world championship. But sadly, they missed again.

However, there’s still a thin chance for the team to be seen on the global stage. Fans will be able to watch Nova Esports competing for the world championship if the team gets a special invite. PUBG Mobile Esports has three invited slots (one is for the grand finals, and the rest two are for the league stage) for the PMGC 2023.

Besides, another powerhouse in the PUBG Mobile Esports world, Four Angry Men (4AM), will also miss the upcoming international event. The team finished the event in the 12th position. It will be exciting to watch the Chinese powerhouses competing against the rest of the world, especially PMGC 2023 PEL Qualifier champion STE.
