Alter Ego Ares crowned as the champion of PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) SEA Fall 2023

The top 6 teams have qualified for the PMGC 2023!

The Indonesian team Alter Ego Ares has become the champion of the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) SEA Fall 2023. The event is one of the few regional leagues with over 2 slots for the upcoming global event of PUBG Mobile Esports. Gathering a total of 163 points, the team won the champion title just by a small margin of 4 points. Besides, the top 6 teams have qualified for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023.

Introduced in the South East Asia, the esports event featured a total of 20 teams. It was offline and took place at Sunway Velocity Mall, Kuala Lumpur. PMSL SEA Fall 2023 was organized by KRAFTONLevel Infinite, and VSPO.

The champion team’s journey in the event

The top 16 teams from the league stage moved to the grand finals. On the three-day grand finals, fans get to witness the ups and downs of some teams while others write their conquest history. However, the initial match of the 18 was taken away by PMWI 2023 champion Vampire Esports. FaZe Clan took the day away extraordinarily well as the team won two chicken dinners on day 1. The champion Alter Ego Ares was placed at the bottom of the table with just 39 points, a clear gap of 46 points from the table topper.

On the next day of the event, Alter Ego Ares could not stand against the other teams once again and fell short in total points to come up even in the top 10. The champion of PMSL SEA Fall 2023 has managed to gather a subtotal of 73 points after the second day. On the other hand, the topper and would-be champion FaZe accumulated 125 points. But, the surprise was about to come as PUBG Mobile God wrote the fate differently. While no one could ever imagine that a team could climb up from the 13th position to become the champion, Alter Ego Ares has done it to shut everyone’s mouth.

A remarkable show of great game sense, total domination, and strategic moves was performed by the champion team. With the inhuman performance by the team on the very last day, Alter Ego Ares was the rightful team to hold the trophy high. Except for the last match, the team came in the top 3 in each match on the final day and won two matches being the top as well. After the end of the day, the champion team scored 4 points more than the runner-up. FaZe missed a golden opportunity by not becoming able to be the champion.

A lion’s share was taken by the PMSL SEA Fall 2023 champion

The event featured a whopping $250,000 as the prize pool. Becoming the champion, Alter Ego Ares pocketed a lion’s share of the prize money. They took $45,000 home while the runner-up and the third-placed team took $25,000 and $14,000 respectively. The rest of the share of each team is given below.

As the events are closing region by region, the schedule of PMGC 2023 is crawling near. While some teams have already qualified for the global championship by their PMGC points, some others are going to the event by winning these regional championships. However, the year-finale event is going to be the biggest attraction of PUBG Mobile Esports as all the best of the best will compete there to wear the world champion crown. PMSL SEA Fall 2023 champion Alter Ego Ares will be one of the strongest contenders that we can tell for sure.
