EA’s Plants vs Zombies 3 is revived again through a soft launch

Available on Android in Australia and the Philippines

EA’s has again soft-launched the third title of the Plants vs Zombies series. Developed by EA’s subsidiary PopCap Games, PvZ 3 is a garden warfare strategy and tower defense title that is a sequel to PvZ 2. Plants vs Zombies 3 was pulled off from its soft launch previously. But the fans will be delighted to know that the game is revived again with a whole new look. It is entering limited testing in selected territories where the primary focus will be on gameplay. PvZ 3 is currently on the Google Play store in Australia and the Philippines and will be available for the next 30 days. In a community post from EA, the developers cleared some basic doubts that fans may have had.

Plants vs Zombies 3: What’s in the improved title

The objective is to defend Neighborville and restore it to its pre-Zomboss glory while encountering new areas, new tricks, and new plants along the way. To make every battle unique and exciting, PopCap claimed that they blended the strategy of past PvZ games with fun puzzles built around the plant team and the lawn.

PopCap also said that this third title is going to be the most exciting and engaging Plants vs. Zombies yet. However, PopCap said that they’ll still be making new content for PvZ 2.

Since hearing your feedback, we’ve gone back to our roots to make sure we are growing a garden every Neighborvillian can be proud of, and this limited test is our first step in building a new and improved Neighborville in PvZ 3. You’ll notice that a lot has changed since the last time you’ve played, and we’re excited to show you what’s new!
