Super Evil Megacorp is developing a new Netflix game based on Zack Snyder’s upcoming action sci-fi film Rebel Moon. Last night, the popular director shared the stage with Geoff Keighley at gamescom: Opening Night Live 2023 and announced the upcoming mobile title.
“I was always a fan of team-building movies like The Magnificent Seven“, said Zack Snyder. “It will expand the rebel moon universe. It takes place right after the events of two movies. I’m super excited as the ideas they have and the way the game is going to expand the universe are unbelievable“, he added.
Super Evil Megacorp to bring Rebel Moon game on Netflix
The first movie of the series, Rebel Moon: A Child Of Fire, will be out on the 22nd of December 2023 on Netflix. The 2nd part of the film, Rebel Moon: Scargiver will hit the theatre on the 19th of April 2024. As per the announcement, the story starts just after the event of Rebel Moon: Part 2.
The upcoming title will be a four-player co-op action game where players will choose their rebel to team up and go on wild missions. The game will be only exclusive to Netflix members, which means anyone with a Netflix subscription will be play it on their system, be it a mobile device or TV.

On an interesting turn of events, a few days earlier, the company revealed a new UK Studio along with its upcoming AAA cross-platform title. But since this Rebel Moon title is exclusive to Netflix subscribers, this is probably not the same game. However, GamingonPhone has reached out to Super Evil Megacorp and will update the article as and when there is an official response.
Super Evil Megacorp entered a partnership with streaming giant Netflix earlier this year to support a major new IP. And, with the announcement of the Super Evil Megacorp Rebel Moon game just surfing the internet, it will be exciting to watch what the game will offer to players worldwide.
