Odette the Swan Princess is a mage class hero in Mobile Legends that’s always feared for her large AoE burst and annoying poke. Passive – Lakeshore Ambience
Every time Odette uses a skill, she will gain a stack to release magic damage that bounces to enemies around the target when giving a basic attack. It can stack for a maximum of three stacks. This passive works well to poke enemies without her being close, and can finish low HP opponent if lucky.
Even when the minion is targeted for the basic attack, the magic energy will prioritize to bounce to heroes within the range first. It doesn’t bounce to the tower, but attacking tower will still release the bouncing energy to nearby enemies so make sure you attack the tower first to deal more damage. The best thing about the passive is that it will bounce to invisible enemies in the bush too!
Skill 1 – Avian Authority
This skill deals quite a damage to enemies so make sure it hits. Before casting ultimate, cast this skill first to slow enemies so they’ll stay longer in the ultimate area. Despite the short range of this skill, follow up with a basic attack to deal damage to enemies. Use this skill to clear minion waves fast.
Skill 2 – Blue Nova
Her second skill is her only CC skill and the duration is quite long which is 2 seconds. However, remember that she immobilizes opponent heroes so they can skill cast spells at you. It’s hard to land this skill on enemies so make sure your positioning is ok and clear from enemy minions. Aim it at an angle to reach further distance than aiming it straight to the enemy.
Skill 3 – Swan Song
Her ultimate is very scary burst damage with large AoE but Odette cannot move and can be interrupted by CC. She receives half damage during her ultimate so magic lifesteal is very important to keep her alive during the ultimate period. Before casting her ultimate, cast her second and first skill first because, in the AoE area, the bouncing time and frequency of her passive will increase.
Best Emblem Set and Spells for Odette
Emblem Set
For Odette, Mage emblem with Impure Rage Talent works best to deal with high damage and support her mana usage. Or you can go with mage emblem with Mystery Shop talent will help to get her items faster so she can deal more damage and survive longer in team fights. Other than that, because she deals with continuous damage with her ultimate, mage emblem with Magic Worship talent works too, to deal more damage to enemies. Holy Crystal: Gives a massive boost to her magic damage, best to get after Glowing Wand and before Ice Queen Wand to get the damage to catch up if your team is falling behind.

Early game
Odette is a very squishy hero so it’s important to play her save before getting Concentrated Energy. Clear waves with her first skill fast and help with teammates to the jungle or steal buffs since her bouncing passive damage enemies quite a lot even in the early game. Don’t go alone or overextend because she’s very easy to get killed in the early game.
Mid game
After getting her core items, be active to participate in team fights. Her damage will melt enemies HP real fast and helps your teammates to finish them off easily. Just keep an eye on opponents with CC because a failed ultimate also means that you will die first. Enter team fights a little bit later to bait all the CC first or do it further a bit from the team fight the flicker to escaping enemies.
Late game
Without her teammates support, Odette is nothing in the late game. Make sure to stay as far as you can during the initiation of team fights, and poke enemies as much as you can from far. Odette can pretty much kill any squishy heroes in a short time. She is a great counter to heroes that is squishy and don’t have any CC skills. Disrupting the enemy’s farming phase also is Odette’s forte. We have been able to shut Aldous and Hayabusa farming by poking them with her passive quite a number of times.
Odette is extremely weak against heroes that have target CC skills or CC skills in general. A small stun can end her ultimate and render her useless. Even a flameshot can cancel her ultimate so keep an eye on the enemy’s spell.

Odette is not the best mage out there, but definitely very useful against some lineup along with the right teammates.
