Mobile Legends Angela Guide: Best Build, Emblem and Gameplay Tips

Love and hope are the two greatest inventions.

Angela the Lovebunny is one of the Support class heroes that’s frequently used in the ranked games in Mobile Legends. Her specialty is guard and support as she’s capable of healing and giving massive shield plus speed buff to a target ally. At the same time, she deals damage to enemies and immobilizes them using her skills. Playing this hero requires extra attention to teammates in need of help, and map awareness overall. We’ll take a look at the best build, emblem, spell, and gameplay of Angela to support to victory in this Mobile Legends guide.

We have previously discussed how to master playing with other Mobile Legends heroes like Ling, WanwanPharsaCarmillaSilvanna, HayabusaAtlasLuo YiYu Zhong, Aurora, Khaleed, Freya, Khufra, X.Borg, Lesley, Tigreal, Valir, Cecilion, Lylia, Uranus, Barats, Odette. So make sure to check these hero guides as well. For now, let’s focus on Angela.

Skill Analysis

Angela is a hero who owns a passive and three actives that complement each other to make her a reliable support. In this Angela guide, let’s see what are her abilities in Mobile Legends, and when you can use which skill to get the best out of her.

Passive – Smart Heart

Mobile Legends Angela Guide passive

Every time Angela uses a skill, her movement speed will increase. This speed increase also applies to ally that’s attached during her ultimate. This passive is useful to help teammates to chase enemies. Using her first skill that doesn’t hit an enemy will also increase her speed. This applies to when she’s using ultimate or not so keep spamming your skills!

Skill 1 – Love Waves

skill 1

Her first skill heal allies and at the same time damage and slow enemies in a straight wave. When the enemy is hit by this skill, they will be marked with Lover’s Mark that increases damage taken by the target, up to five marks. These skills can be charged up to five charges so you can keep spamming this skill in a team fight to heal allies, damage, and weaken enemies at the same time.

Skill 2 – Puppet-on-a-String

Mobile Legends Angela Guide skill 2

A string is bonded to the enemy target for three seconds, dealing magic damage and gradually slowing the target. The enemy will be immobilized and damaged if still intact with the string after that period of time. It’s important to use Angela’s first skill prior to using this skill, because each Lover’s Mark will increase the final damage, and to slow enemies so they are within range of the string. While the string is attached to the enemy, Angela still can do basic attack and cast spells so keep using her first skill to collect more marks.

Skill 3 – Heartguard

skill 3

Angela can attach herself to an ally, teleporting, and giving shield to the target. Angela can cast her skills when attached for twelve seconds but not spells. When using Angela, keep an eye on ally’s HP all the time at the ultimate icon and know who to ultimate to. Do it at the base or in the bush. Sometimes high mobility heroes like Fanny and Ling are not recommended to ulti to because it’s hard to aim her first skill and second skill would break if too far away from enemies.

Best Emblem Set and Spells for Angela

Emblem Set

Emblems that are usually used by a support is the Support Emblem. For Angela, it’s the same case and the most suitable talent is Pull Yourself Together talent Support Emblem. This is because Angela’s first skill is an enhanced version of Focusing on Mark, and she doesn’t really need a lot of farms so Avarice talent is not necessary. Pull Yourself Together Talent will reduce her respawn time and enable her to support teammates most of the time, in addition to being able to use her spell more frequently.

Spells

Angela benefits from a wide choice of spells. One of them is Flicker because Angela doesn’t have any dash or blink skills. This spell can be used to escape from enemies when your attached ally dies.

Another spell that’s usually used is Flameshot for the pushing and slowing ability. Sometimes, assassins will target Angela first in team fights. Pushing them away to the front line using Flameshot is a good step to ensure Angela doesn’t die early in team fights. Revitalize or Aegis is not bad as well, can be used when Angela is attached to an ally that’s being a target in a team fight.

Best Builds for Angela in Mobile Legends

As a support, Angela benefits most from cooldown items like Fleeting Time or Enchanted Talisman to spam her skills more, and Oracle for enhanced healing effect. Since she can inflict damage in large AoE with skill 1, Necklace of Durance can be a good choice for her too.

Our personal favorite is Ice Queen Wand that slows enemies further, causing enemies to be almost immobile, making it easier for this little hero to hit her skills. Courage Mask is also suitable for her to give the team buff. If a game reaches till the late game, Immortality should be prioritized for longer presence in team fights.

Mobile Legends Angela Gameplay Tips

A support hero gameplay is very dynamic throughout the game. Let’s take a look at how Angela can be effective in the early, mid, and late game. Our Angela guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late game in Mobile Legends. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero.

Early game

Angela’s first skill can be charged up to five charges so don’t be scared to spam the skill early game to poke your enemies. Other than that, it heals your allies along with the wave so they can be aggressive to attack enemies because you are healing them. Being annoying early game is crucial for support heroes, because at later parts of the game when enemies are fed, the support hero can die easily.

Mid game

Since the early game, Angela should participate in team fights. In mid-game, Angela should already have Fleeting time so she can use her ultimate more frequently. Be with your teammate that kill the most and support him/her (not necessarily carry) as a support responsibility is to help to get kills, not only babysit carry.

Late game

Late game is the time Angela seems to be lacking. If no defensive item is owned, you’ll find her very easy to die so make sure you build an Immortality. Angela is a must-have a member in late-game team fights as her first skill increase damage taken by the opponent significantly, eases your teammates to finish them off easier.

Angela is good against melee heroes that require them to be near to Angela. You might realize that most of the heroes are regen or lifesteal heroes. It’s because Angela can reduce their regen by Necklace of Durance, increase damage from teammates to not let them have a chance to regen, and immobilize them using skill 2.

The chance of winning a team fight is very less when Angela is not around. Backline intruders like assassins and fighters or burst damage heroes should be taken extra attention.

Final Thoughts

Even support heroes are not usually used in ranked matches, Angela stays relevant in the game. Being aggressive early game is important to disrupt the opponent’s farm and participate in team fights no matter what because Angela’s first skill is important to heal, damage, and amplify damage. If you are good at playing Angela, you are considered to be a good support player and pretty much can play other support heroes.
