Skill Analysis
Brody is a hero with the common four skill sets of one passive and three actives. In this Brody guide, let’s see what are his abilities in Mobile Legends, and when you can use which skill to get the best out of him.
Passive – Abyss Corrosion
Brody’s basic attack has a long animation effect and each basic attack deals with 200 amount of physical damage. He can move while doing his basic attack but this effect will stop working if he uses his skills. After hitting a target with his basic attack, he will gain extra movement speed for 1.2 seconds. His every basic attack will add Abyss mark to the target and this can be stacked up to 4 times. Each Abyss mark will increase Brody’s damage by 10 % and movement speed by 5% against the marked target. Remember that casting any skill while doing a basic attack will cancel the basic attack and Brody’s abyss mark will stay for 8 seconds on a target.
Skill 1 – Abyss Impact (AoE)
CD – 4 seconds
Brody will release a shock wave while dealing with 250/325/400/475/550/625 amount of physical damage to them. Since this is an AoE skill so it can deal damage to multiple enemies on its path while slows them down by 30% for 1.2 seconds and add an abyss mark on them. The slow effect and marks will increase on each hit. This skill only deals 50% damage to minions.
Skill 2 – Corrosive Strike (CC) (Blink)
CD – 8/7.6/7.2/6.8/6.4/6
This is a dash skill for Brody but you have to lock on a target in order to use that dash. After choosing the target he will dashes to an enemy while dealing 200/230/260/290/320/350 amount of physical damage and stuns the target for 1.2 seconds. Casting this skill also adds an abyss mark to the target. The best part is, after hitting the target Brody will dash again in the direction of the joystick and gains 45% extra movement speed. You can use it to control any tricky situation while keeping a safe distance from enemy damage dealer.
Skill 3 – Torn-Apart Memory (Burst)
CD – 24/21/18
Brody’s ultimate has a big range which will cover 8yards on the map. The range becomes visible if you deal with damage to the target. His skill deals 400/520/640 amount of physical damage to all the targets within the range including jungle creeps and minions. If the target already has an Abyss mark, this skill will count the mark and deals an extra hit to the target while dealing with 200/260/320 amount of physical damage. This skill can deal high damage to low HP enemies and after locking the skill, the skill will hit the enemy for sure even if you got out of range.

Unlock skill 1 first and upgrade it to the max level, upgrade skill 2 accordingly, and ultimate whenever available.
Best Emblem Set and Spells for Brody in Mobile Legends
Emblem Set
Brody has massive damage output so you can use custom Assassin Emblem on him to amplify his basic attack damage. This will also help him to handle the early game situation. Now put your points like this
- Agility (+3)
- Invasion (+3)
- Killing Spree (+1)
Other than the Assassin Emblem you can also use the Marksman Emblem. You can spend all your talent points on the Critical damage part in order to deal quality of burst damage. Instead of Electro Flash, you can use Weapon Master which will increase your attack speed in the late phase.

Spells
The only spell we recommend is Flicker. He is a very fragile hero so flicker will definitely help him out to escape from any unwanted situations. One thing to be clear that without Skill 2 Brody does not have any escape skill, so if the enemy team picks too many CC heroes you can use Purify instead of Flicker.
Best Builds for Brody in Mobile Legends
Here we can use two types of build on Brody. In the case of both builds, we can clearly see that Berserker’s Fury & Blade of Despair are the core items for him. Then you can build Hass Claw or Endless according to the situation. Lastly, you can buy Immortality to gain an extra life on the battlefield. The new hero Brody is fully based upon the new lane mechanism. You do not have Retribution as a spell, so you can not buy jungle items. In order to play him perfectly, you must have to choose your lane wisely and focus on buying core items. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero.
Early Game
At level one unlock your skill 1 and go to Gold lane. While laning try to hit enemies through the minion wave with your first skill. If you did this correctly you can instantly stack 4 abyss marks which will increase Brody’s damage output.
Do not chase for kills, Brody can poke enemy very often so use it to make them recall and in that meantime, you will get a free gold advantage. As an offlaner, you have to push turret whenever you got the chance. Use your skills on Jungle monsters and minions to farm faster.
Mid Game
Don’t fall behind in the economy. Your main damage will come from your build so try to complete it and focus on the farm. Do not initiate unnecessary fights, instead of that do a quick rotation in mid lane in order to do a successful gank with your mage.
Use your skill 2 on target to quickly change your position while roaming or attacking. In this period don’t play too much aggressively.
Late Game
In this phase, Brody will shine the most. Try to stay with your tank. Follow your minimap before ganking. Do not ever use your ultimate first, try to hit it when enemies are low on HP.
Skill 1 + Basic Attack + Skill 2 + Basic Attack + Skill 3
It will deal more damage to them at that moment. Try to use lock-on mode on dot life enemies and use your Ultimate to secure kills. If you want the quality to sustain, then always build a Lifesteal item.

Final Thoughts
This newly launched hero Brody is good to play and you can easily push rank with him but high Burst damage type heroes are bad for Brody, so do not initiate 1v1 situation with those heroes. Try to end the game as soon as possible without stretching it unnecessarily. Don’t build attack speed items on him instead of that make lifesteal items.
