Skill Analysis

Just like most heroes, Dyrroth has a basic set of one Passive and 3 Active Skills. His skills mainly revolve around dealing damage towards enemy heroes and other subjects (minions, jungle monsters, etc.) in a short range. His skills also allow him to farm jungle monsters fairly easily without the help of spells such as Retribution. In this Dyrroth guide, let’s see what his skills do exactly and how to get the most out of them in Mobile Legends.

Passive – Wrath of the Abyss

When Dyrroth’s Rage reaches 50%, he will enhance Burst Strike (Skill 1) and Spectre Step (Skill 2). After each 2 Basic Attacks, Dyrroth will release Circle Strike, dealing (+140% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies in the circle and regenerating HP according to the damage he deals (Circle Strike doesn’t have Attack Effect). Each time he hits any enemy hero, the CD of Burst Strike and Spectre Step will be decreased by 1 second.

Skill 1 – Burst Strike

dyrroth skill 1

Dyrroth releases a Burst Strike in a designated direction. Each burst deals 200/250/300/350/400/450 (+60% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies and slows them by 25% for 1.5 seconds. The damage decays against the same target and decreases to only 75% on minions.

Abyss Enhanced: Burst Strike has a longer range, deals 140% of the original damage, and its slow effect is doubled.

Skill 2 – Spectre Step

dyrroth skill 2

Dyrroth dashes in the designated direction. He will stop when he hits a target, dealing 230/255/280/305/330/355 (+60% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies. When he uses this skill again, he will lock onto a target and release a Fatal Strike, dealing 345/390/435/480/525/570 (+120% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage and reducing the target’s Physical Defense by 50% for 4 seconds.

Abyss Enhanced: Fatal Strike will deal 150% of the original damage, slow the target by an extra 90% and reduce the target’s Physical Defense by 75% for 4 seconds.

Skill 3 (Ultimate) – Abysm Strike

dyrroth skill 3

Dyrroth quickly charges and releases a Fatal Strike, dealing Physical Damage equal to 650/950/1250 (+250% Extra Physical Attack) plus 20% of enemies’ lost HP to enemies along the way and slowing them by 55% for 0.8 seconds.

Skill-up method for Dyrroth

It is advised that players unlock Skill 1 at the beginning of a match before maxing up the level of Dyrroth’s Spectre Step (Skill 2) to Level 6 wherever possible in order to reduce the cooldown of the skill and greatly increase the amount of damage. However, upgrade Burst Strike (Skill 1) when it is compulsory to do so, and Abysm Strike (Skill 3) whenever possible.

Best Emblem Set and Spells for Dyrroth in Mobile Legends

Emblem Set

Mobile Legends Dyrroth Guide

Being a Fighter, players should use a Custom Fighter Emblem by spending Talent Points on Bravery for added Physical Attack, Invasion for added Physical Penetration, and Festival of Blood for increased Spell Vamp. Increased Spell Vamp will be extremely beneficial for Dyrroth in order to quickly regenerate HP while using his skills.

Battle Spells

  • Flicker is considered to be the best spell for Dyrroth. Players can use Flicker to either escape near-death situations quickly or pair it up with Abysm Strike (Skill 3) to perform a combo and finish off enemies with extremely low health attempting to escape.
  • Purify is another alternative players can choose to consider. Should players face an enemy team with extremely High CC (Crowd Control), they can use Flicker to escape ambushes or prevent the cancellation of his skills.

Best Builds for Dyrroth in Mobile Legends

When playing Dyrroth, players should use builds that will mainly increase their Physical Defense, Physical Attack, Spell Vamp, Health Points (HP), as well as Cooldown Reduction in order to get the best gameplay out of him. Our recommended build includes Warrior Boots, Bloodlust Axe, War Axe, Blade of Despair, Queen’s Wings, and Immortality.

Warrior Boots will help to increase Dyrroth’s Physical Defense and Movement Speed. Bloodlust Axe, War Axe, and Blade of Despair will mainly increase Dyrroth’s Physical Attack and provide Cooldown Reduction for his skills. Last but not least, Queen’s Wings and Immortality will improve his durability and chances of survival in teamfights with a great increase in Health Points (HP).

Mobile Legends Dyrroth Gameplay Tips

As discussed earlier, Dyrroth being an extremely situational hero, players who wish to perform well on the battlefield should thoroughly understand when and how to use him. Our Mobile Legends Dyrroth guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late game. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero.

Early game

After unlocking Burst Strike (Skill 1) at Level 1, immediately head to the Exp Lane and use the skill to clear the minion wave to gain Exp and level up quickly. Players should position themselves such that Wrath of the Abyss (Passive) will attack as many minions as possible in order to clear the minion wave efficiently.

Additionally, Dyrroth will also gain HP (if applicable) with his Passive Skill active. Max up Dyrroth’s Spectre Step (Skill 2) to Level 6 wherever possible in order to reduce the cooldown of the skill and greatly increase the amount of damage.

Mid game

When low on health, instead of recalling back to base in order to regain HP, players can attempt to clear minion waves or farm jungle monsters to regain a fair amount of their HP. Dyrroth is able to farm jungle monsters at a fair pace without retribution thanks to his Skills as well as Wrath of the Abyss (Passive).

Late game

Don’t be afraid to use Dyrroth’s skills whenever necessary. Use Phase 1 of Spectre Step (Skill 2) to quickly escape or cancel enemies’ skill casting while participating in team fights. As Abysm Strike (Skill 3) has a short delay after the activation, perform a combo with Flicker to dash and finish off low-health enemies attempting to escape.
