Skill Analysis

Balmond has one passive skill and three active skills. His kit mainly works on durability and being able to last very long on the battlefield. In this Balmond guide, let’s see what his skills do exactly and how to get the most out of them in Mobile Legends.

Passive – Bloodthirst

Mobile Legends Balmond Gameplay Tips

Balmond is a very strong fighter in the current meta, but any player will need a good understanding of the map to excel at the game. In our opinion, we feel that Balmond is a hero that is quite strong in all three segments. Our Mobile Legends Balmond guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late game. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero.

Early Game

At level 1, try your best to cut the minion wave so that you can roam and disrupt the jungler of the enemy’s team. This can be very helpful as you can secure kills or even steal the enemy’s buff. Try your best to always aim for the jungler or mage of the enemy team as they are the ones with the lowest physical defense and easiest to kill. Then continue to clear waves to get level 4 as fast as possible.

Mid Game

When Balmond has reached level four he has to be active and try to roam as much as he can provide great additional damage and also help tank some damage from the enemies. One thing to do is to make sure you can clear your minion wave faster than your enemy as while your enemy is busy clearing the wave you can be going to your team and helping them secure objectives such as turtles.

Late Game

In the late game when you have all or almost all of your items you have to make sure that you are not alone as the enemy team can easily gank you and kill you. Balmond in the late game is very important as he can act as both a secondary tank or even a high damage output for your team. Always play near your team in the late game as you can help take the damage from the enemies but also dish out damage.

One tip is that when Balmond has all of his items his cooldown will be very low and that you can use your ultimate whenever you want. Always try to use your ultimate before you die as it gives an incredible amount of HP for you and also a lot of damage for the enemies.

Final Thoughts

As of right now, Balmond is a very good pick for the off-lane or even side lane. His abilities help him be able to sustain high amounts of damage, but can also give it back. He is most likely going to be a first or second pick hero in this current meta. He will be a meta fighter as long as he doesn’t receive a nerf or other fighter heroes getting a major buff.

Overall Balmond is a fighter hero who has a fairly simple kit but when used properly can be incredibly difficult to deal with. The guide here will help you out on how to maximize the most out of this hero. You can also refer to our latest tier list to know more about the revamped meta heroes in this current season.
