Skill Analysis

Nightmaric Spawn will enjoy 70%–100% of Zhask’s Attributes (20–50 (+50%–80% Total Magic Power) for Magic Power). If Zhask is too far away from Nightmaric Spawn, it will disappear. Basic Attack damage: 140 (+120% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage; Death Ray damage: 90 (+20% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage)
Skill 2 – Mind Eater (CC, AoE)
CD – 8.0
Zhask fires a penetrating mental missile in the designated direction, dealing 300–540 (+100% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies along the way, after which Nightmaric Spawn will cast Mind Eater once. If an enemy is hit by both, it will be stunned for 0.5 seconds.
Fusion Enhanced: The damage of Zhask and Nightmaric Spawn is fused together, dealing 540–975 (+180% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage.
Skill 3 – Hive Clones (Slowed, Damage)
CD – 10
Zhask releases a swarm (5) of Nightmeric Clones in the targeted direction. The clones will explode and deal 110–200 (+50% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies on contact, reducing their Movement Speed by 80% for 1 second. If Nightmaric Clones find no target, they will burrow into the ground and ambush enemies passing by.
Fusion Enhanced: Zhask releases several swarms (15) of Nightmeric Clones.
Ultimate Skill – Dominator’s Descent (Morph, BUFF)
CD – 60.0/55.0/50.0
Zhask substantially enhances the power of Nightmaric Spawn and fuses with it, increasing all its attributes. His skills are enhanced during the fusion period. On using again, Zhask immediately gets off Nightmaric Spawn and loses enhancement.
Basic Attack damage: 240 (+200% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage; Death Ray damage: 180 (+50% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage. Enhanced Nightmaric Spawn grants (+1000–3000% Extra HP) during the duration and inherits 50–100 (+90% Total Magic Power) of Zhask’s Magic Power.
Skill-up method for Zhask
Unlock his first skill first then his second and third skill respectively. Unlock ultimate at level 4. Prioritize upgrading this first skill to max first and second skill respectively. Upgrade his Ultimate respectively and upgrade the third skill at last. Skill upgrading priority: Skill 1 >> Skill 2 >> Ultimate >> Skill 3.

Battle Spells

This guide is focused on playing Zhask as a mid laner. Zhask can be played in the gold lane also. Go to the mid lane and use inspire as the battle spell to gain more attack speed in the Ultimate form. Keep that in mind that Zhask has no escape skill except his Ultimate, where he becomes invisible from the Mini-map.

Early Game

Late Game

It’s better not to initiate team fights on your own.
Enemies can burst you down even in your ultimate form in the late game. Wait for a good opportunity to use your Ultimate. His Ultimate can be moved once. Place his ultimate in the middle of the enemies to deal damage from a safe distance. Use inspire spell before using your Ultimate to increase attack speed in Ultimate form.
