The Taycan art car was created live at the Leuehof pop-up restaurant on Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse last December. To create the the car, Phillips applied his Queen of the Night painting because it is inspired by the work of Swiss landscape artist Adolf Dietrich. The painting is printed on vinyl and German company SIGNal Design applied to the vinyl to the car with heat guns.

The artwork shows a 3D arrangement of details of the eight-square-meter painting flowing up the hood over the front fenders and across the doors, giving a feeling of speed with the leaves of the night bloom, RM says. Out back the image glides over the roof and rear fenders, with the flora opening to reveal the blue sky. Porsche Exclusive added some touches, including an illuminated inscription of Queen of the Night on the door sills and Phillips’ signature illuminated by the door projectors when the door is opened.
