Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle, brought to you by Bandai Namco Entertainment will be undergoing certain changes for its Japanese server, as announced by the developers after their special Dokkan Now! Celebration stream. The developers will unify the Japanese and Global Server Contents as per their announcement, meaning that both Japanese and Global servers will receive the same updates simultaneously.
The merging of servers will allow players in Japan to have updates without delays
There is not much information available from the side of the developers regarding what this merging of servers would result in. However, it can be anticipated that players from Japan would be able to benefit from this new update as it will allow them to have updates regarding the game at the same time as the global servers. Events and exclusive quests will also be offered as per the global servers hence they would be no longer several months behind depending on the event that was launched.
Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle is a puzzle title, where players link together spheres to chain attacks from their various characters. The longer the chain of multiple colors the players are able to form the better and stronger the attacks of the character becomes. Released as one of the earliest titles on Mobile devices of the Dragon Ball series, the game features over 2000 different characters in the game included from various different Dragon Ball universes like Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, Xenoverse, and more.

The aim of the players is to make sure that they solve the puzzles to help their characters land powerful blows and ultimas to defeat their enemies in the game. Along with the unique stories from the franchise the game also offers a chance for the players to relive the iconic moments from the franchise.
