Tips to complete the comprehensive 4.0 Event Guide!

Mega Meka Melee is the Flagship Event of the Genshin Impact version 4.0 Update. The duration of this event is from 24th August 2023 to 11th September 2023. The event shop will be open until the 18th of September, 2023.

Genshin Impact Mega Meka Melee Event: Requirements

  • Adventure Rank 20 or above
  • Complete the Archon Quest Prologue Chapter Act 3: “Song of the Dragon and Freedom”

Genshin Impact Mega Meka Melee Event: Quest

Navigate the quest and talk to the NPCs at Leschot’s workshop. Then go to the toy store and talk to the owner, Caron. Return to Leschot’s workshop. Finishing the conversation will unlock the event gameplay. There are three game modes: Dance Dance Resolution, Torrential Turbulent Charge, and Efficacy Testing Simulation Arena.

Dance Dance Resolution

Navigate the quest and talk to Armand. He is the NPC you will have to interact with in order to start the challenges.

There are three challenges, each with increasing difficulty. During these challenges, a toy moves forward in a conveyor belt, and you need to hit the slimes that appear on the sides. The yellow slimes can be destroyed with one hit, the blue slimes need to be destroyed with a charged attack, and the double green slimes need to be destroyed with a left-and-right simultaneous attack.

Torrential Turbulent Charge

Complete the world quest “Aqueous Tidemarks” to start this part of the event.

Navigate the quest and talk to Arbon. He will unlock the challenges. The challenges can be accessed from the event page. These challenges are all about swimming while avoiding obstacles and passing through speed-boosting rings. Your character will automatically move forward and their direction can be controlled.

Efficacy Testing Simulation Arena

Navigate the quest and talk to Alberre. Finishing this conversation will unlock the challenges. These are combat challenges. Access the challenges from the event page. Under each challenge, there are three groups of enemies that need to be defeated.

Genshin Impact Mega Meka Melee Event: Rewards

The biggest reward for this event is a free copy of “Trial By Fire” Bennett (pyro/sword). Collecting 2400 event currency will allow players to invite Bennett to join your roster.

The event shop includes 1 Crown of Insight as well as Fontaine talent books. The event currency obtained from completing challenges can be used to buy items from the event shop.

Battle Pass Rewards

This event added additional “This BP Period” Battle Pass missions to the Battle Pass. The Battle Pass EXP (BP EXP) obtained from these missions does not count towards the weekly experience limit of 10,000 BP EXP.

  • Complete “Sidle Like a Crab” in “Torrential Turbulent Charge” during the “Mega Meka Melee” event: 1,200 BP EXP
  • Complete all “Skill Simulation” challenges in “Efficacy Testing Simulation Arena” during the “Mega Meka Melee” event: 1,500 BP EXP
  • Score 5,000 points in the “Agile Measure” challenge of “Dance Dance Resolution” during the “Mega Meka Melee” event: 1,500 BP EXP
  • Obtain 1,000 Enigmatic Copper Mainsprings during the “Mega Meka Melee” event: 1,500 BP EXP
