Popular and award-winning strategy card title on mobile, Marvel Snap, officially announced the game’s arrival on PC via the Steam client. Although we mobile fans didn’t get any in-game announcements, in particular, the Twitch Drops event to celebrate the game’s PC launch was helpful in earning rewards.

Another interesting announcement for mobile came in the form of Super Evil Megacorp confirming a new Netflix game based on Rebel Moon. This will be based on popular American film director Zack Snyder’s upcoming action sci-fi film based on the same name.

The first day of Gamescom 2023 had the much-awaited Level Infinite showcase, which presented interesting details regarding the upcoming mobile titles such as Tarisland and Assassin’s Creed Jade, while we also got to see some HoYoverse gameplay trailers, which were pleasing to the eye and added to the overall excitement of the day.

Assassin’s Creed Jade gets a new logo

This concluded with the announcement for the 2nd Closed Beta Test of Assassin’s Creed Jade. This will be arriving with new features, which, along with the date, hasn’t been revealed yet. To note, the first closed beta kicked off on the 3rd of August 2023, which went over a week and concluded on the 11th of August.

Tarisland to conduct second closed beta in November

Another important update for the awaited fantasy MMORPG Tarisland arrived with the scheduling of its second closed beta test in November 2023 and will be conducted within select regions from Europe, Asia, and America. We did get additional confirmation from the developers that Tarisland’s 2nd CBT will be arriving with more rich game content, much to the fans’ delight.

This came after the game entered closed beta tests exclusively in China this June and was shared by the developers at the SPARK 2023 annual conference which concluded in May before early access for Android in select regions. However, the release date with this would be more delayed for sure, but hopefully, it won’t be a wait.

Command & Conquer: Legions game reveal trailer showcased

We also got to see some additional information being revealed about the newly announced installment in the Command & Conquer series through an exclusive trailer. Also, on August 25, a new test phase will commence for Android players in Australia, Canada, France, Mexico, New Zealand, and the Philippines, with other regions to follow later this year.

For those who do not know, the title was first named Project C&C before being renamed Command & Conquer: Legions. The reason behind the hype is that the game draws its inspiration from the well-known Command & Conquer series which were real-time strategy games.

Delta Force: Hawk Ops game reveal

Day 1 of the event gave us more info about the global announcement of Delta Force that happened the same week. The renowned tactical first-person action shooter, inspired by the Black Hawk Down movie, will be available to players across console, PC, and mobile platforms upon launch. The dev deep dive gave us more insights into the game, its features, operator abilities, and more.

This came after the game’s China reveal in July, which wasn’t any rich in detail but had drawn a resemblance to the now-defunct game Area F2. Upon arrival, the developers of Delta Force: Hawk Ops have confirmed that the game will feature both Campaign and Multiplayer modes.

Genshin Impact unveils exciting updates and concert tour

Kicking off with the HoYoverse universe, Genshin Impact’s Version 4.0 has announced the arrival of its fifth nation, Fontaine. To the delight of fans, the game also announced its inaugural international offline concert series, Genshin Concert Tour: Melodies of an Endless Journey.

Through an engaging trailer and the presence of Zhenyu Li, the game’s producer, on stage, viewers were treated to a sneak peek of the exhilarating action gameplay, distinctive aesthetic styles, and the latest developmental progress of this upcoming action RPG Zenless Zone Zero.

In May last year, Zenless Zone Zero opened registration for its closed beta test where sneak peeks of the game were shared in the Summer Game Fest 2022. However, after a year of initial announcement, we finally got to see something worthwhile. Given the game has been in development for over a year, this should come as a delight to fans.

Honkai: Star Rail showcases new trailer

The final HoYoverse showcase was with their recent hit title Honkai: Star Rail. In the latest trailer for the anime RPG, the spotlight was on Fu Xuan as she assumes the role of a general, actively contributing to the reconstruction efforts of Luofu. The viewers were treated to once again fantastic visuals, which might have ignited thoughts from non-players as well.

The game features a 2D style of art with 3D graphics where they can engage in a free combat system with four characters. Each character possesses a core movement skill like parkour, swinging, or wall-climbing.
